Wounded Tyrosaur is a weakened variant of Tyrosaur summoned using a weaker Bone Horn.
Spawning[ | ]
Wounded Tyrosaur can be spawned by holding the use button down while holding a Bone Horn with exactly two durability points (i.e. one that has been repaired through crafting) in Precasia, charging it up like a bow. A Wounded Tyrosaur will spawn within 10-30 blocks after a while.
Behavior[ | ]
Upon spawning, Wounded Tyrosaur's health will be set to a random value between 15% and 20% of its max health. They can be healed past this point to their max health with healing potions, but this does not affect their other stats, name, appearance, or behavior.
Wounded Tyrosaurs are aggressive, and will attack nearby players and player-owned mobs within 64 blocks of them without provocation. Once a Wounded Tyrosaur is aggroed to a target, or a player/mob aggroed them, they will continue attempting to attack until the target moves over 100 blocks away. They attack by biting their target, dealing melee damage.
Wounded Tyrosaurs will follow targets both on land and in water, and are capable of pathfinding around obstacles.
They are notably slower than Tyrosaur, and do not have any of its special attacks nor other attributes.
Wounded Tyrosaurs have six hitboxes; 5 green ones and one central white one. The player can attack any of them to do damage, however attacks on the two back green ones (where Wounded Tyrosaur's tail is) do 15% less damage then attacks on the other hitboxes.
Drops[ | ]
Players that kill a Wounded Tyrosaur will have any Bone Horns in their inventory with exactly two durability points be fully charged. This allows those Bone Horns to summon the non-wounded Tyrosaur.
