Void Walkers are hostile melee mobs that spawn naturally in the Overworld.
Spawning[ | ]
Void Walkers spawn naturally in the Overworld. They can spawn in any biome at a Y level of 0 or lower, with the exception of biomes tagged as neoforge:no_mob_spawns.
Like most other mobs; their spawning can be prevented by placing torches or other lighting blocks nearby to raise the light level above 0.
Behavior[ | ]
Void Walkers are aggressive, and will attack nearby players and player-owned mobs within 10 blocks of them without provocation. Once a Void Walker is aggroed to a target, or a player/mob aggroed them, they will continue attempting to attack until the target moves over 14 blocks away. They attack with a basic melee attack.
Void Walkers will follow targets both on land and in water, and are capable of pathfinding around obstacles.
