The Nether is a fiery, hellish dimension.

Overview

In the mod, the Nether is considered a tier 1 dimension. Advent of Ascension adds new mobs, one new structure, and two new ores to the Nether.

Advent of Ascension adds a Nether Realmstone for the Nether, which can be obtained by submerging in lava and dropping a Blank Realmstone. This can be used as an optional alternative to the vanilla method of accessing the Nether. Using the realmstone will not apply the 8:1 portal conversion that the vanilla Nether Portal has, and will produce a portal made of Glowstone instead of Obsidian.
