+ | Tablets can be placed in the world in order to achieve an effect. |
||
− | In order to use a tablet, two requirements must be met: the player's Anima level has to be high enough, and the player must have enough soul power to use the specified tablet. If both of these requirements are met, the player can use the tablet by pressing use while holding the tablet. Upon being used, the tablet will grant a beneficial buff or other action to the player, and remove the needed amount of soul power from the player's bar. If the player does not have the required anima level and/or soul power, attempting to use a tablet will do nothing. |
||
+ | To place a tablet into the world, the player must have the correct Anima level and the correct amount of Soul Power available (except in Creative mode). The Anima level and the Soul Power required to place a tablet into the world can be viewed on the tablet's tooltip. Attempting to place a tablet when either (or both) of these conditions is not met will not place the tablet. If both the conditions are met, the player can place the tablet by holding the tablet in their hands and then use (defaults to right-click) it on a block. This will place the tablet into the world and remove the tablet from the player's hands. |
||
− | The amount of soul power that a tablet requires will be cut in half if the player wears a full set of Anima Armor. |
||
+ | Once the tablet is in the world, it will begin draining the player's Soul Power (the amount it drains is listed on the tablet's tooltip). As long as the player's Soul Power is above the amount the tablet drains, the tablet will apply an effect, the effect depending on the tablet (e.g.: if a tablet drains 50 Soul Power per second, it will apply its effect for as long as the player has at least 50 Soul Power). |
||
− | <u>Tablets have no durability and are not consumed upon use, thus they can be used indefinitely.</u> |
||

+ | Once the player runs out of Soul Power needed to use a tablet, the tablet will stop producing its effect. If the player regenerates enough Soul Power to use the tablet again while the tablet is in the world, the tablet will not start applying its effect again until the player picks it up and places it back down. |

Usage
Tablets can be placed in the world in order to achieve an effect.
To place a tablet into the world, the player must have the correct Anima level and the correct amount of Soul Power available (except in Creative mode).
Once the tablet is in the world, it will begin draining the player's Soul Power (the amount it drains is listed on the tablet's tooltip). As long as the player's Soul Power is above the amount the tablet drains, the tablet will apply an effect, the effect depending on the tablet (e.g.: if a tablet drains 50 Soul Power per second, it will apply its effect for as long as the player has at least 50 Soul Power).
Once the player runs out of Soul Power needed to use a tablet, the tablet will stop producing its effect. If the player regenerates enough Soul Power to use the tablet again while the tablet is in the world, the tablet will not start applying its effect again until the player picks it up and places it back down.
Tablets that are in the world can be picked up by pressing use (right-click) on a tablet. This will remove the tablet from the world and return it to the player's inventory.
Types
There are two types of tablets in-game, distinguishable by their appearance: tablets that grant status effects and tablets that perform instantaneous actions. Tablets that inflict status effects are square-shaped, while instant-action tablets are more rounded.
