Natural generation[edit | edit source]

Stranglewood logs generate as the trunk of a stranglewood tree, including both the naturally generated trees and trees grown from a stranglewood sapling. Stranglewood logs also generate in the jungle lotto hut and opteryx nest.

Usage[edit | edit source]

Stranglewood logs are used similarly to logs in vanilla Minecraft.

Fuel[edit | edit source]

Stranglewood logs can be used as a fuel for smelting. Stranglewood logs can smelt 1.5 items per log.

Making stripped logs[edit | edit source]

Using an axe on a stranglewood log will turn it into a stripped stranglewood log.

Climbing[edit | edit source]

If the fullBoundingBoxLadders config option is set to true (the config option is found in the forge-server.toml file, which is located in the serverconfig folder in the world's save folder), then the player will be able to climb the side of stranglewood logs. Only the sides with the vine textures can be climbed. The player can sneak while climbing the log to stay in place, just like a ladder. If the log is placed sideways, the player can still climb on the bottommost side by sneaking to hold on.
