Boss Information
Smash (also known as King of trolls) is the easier one of the two Overworld bosses in Nevermine. Although Smash can be fought fairly early into a player's adventure he should not be underestimated. Smash is considered the simplest of all the bosses in Nevermine. Smash can be spawned by using a Troll Idol. Smash can easily kill a player in just a few hits if not properly equipped. He can even one hit a player if they have no form of negating fall damage. If Smash finds himself suffocating in a wall, he will clear out a large area of air around him.
Behavior
Smash is a boss that hits very hard. Due to the size of his club, when Smash hits a player the player is launched into the air and is turned backward. When Smash hits a player the player is sent very high into the air. The fall caused by Smash's hit may very well be fatal to a player if not properly equipped.
After hitting a player, Smash will run to an area near where the player is going to land. After landing, smash will begin pursuit of the player again. It should be noted that Smash moves a decent bit faster than the default walking speed, and he can easily chase a player.
The severity of how high Smash hits a player is increased depending on how low Smash's health is. Severity increases every 100 health points that Smash has lost. The maximum height of a hit is much higher than the lowest possible height.
Smash is highly resistant to knockback.
If Smash misses his charge, he will circle around and charge again.
Strategies
It is highly recommended that players wear Alacrity Armor or Amethind Armor when fighting Smash. Both will completely negate the damage from the fall of Smash's hits. However, there are other ways to negate fall damage in AoA that may be easier than getting the Alacrity Armor or Amethind Armor. One of these ways is the Gravitator, another way is the Lunar Armor if you have found a Terrestrial. you could also cheat it by fighting him in water the boss swims and wont go under water so you can hit him from below and if he hits you into the sky you wont get any fall damage thanks to the water.
Additionally, the player should get a Tablet of Speed, so that the player can avoid Smash's attacks, while also be able to range attack him at a smaller risk. A ranged weapon such as the Blood Iron, Krilinator, or similar gun is recommended.
If the player would like to kill Smash easily, they can create platforms that are 3-5 blocks high to completely negate damage from Smash and spam him with attacks.
Drops
Smash has 25% chance to drop one of his four weapon drops. He will always drop one weapon upon death. He may also drop a secondary item that could be 10 leather, 15 diamonds, or 50 coal. Only one secondary item is guaranteed upon Smash's Death. The Looting Enchantment does not affect Smash or his drops.
If the player is hunter level 30 or above, Smash will drop 400 hunter experience when killed. If the player is under level 30, Smash will not drop any experience.
