Sea Chargers are hostile melee mobs that spawn naturally in the Overworld.
Spawning[ | ]
Sea Chargers spawn naturally in beach-type biomes in the Overworld.
They will only spawn during the day, and like most other mobs; their spawning can be prevented by placing torches or other lighting blocks nearby to raise the light level above 7.
Behavior[ | ]
Sea Chargers are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target. Although they are primarily land-based creatures, Sea Chargers are able to move very quickly through water, and can easily catch up to targets.
They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players within 16 blocks without provocation. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.
Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.
When running, Sea Chargers do not handle quick turning very well. They require a short distance to slow down, or to take a wide turn. This allows players more easily outmaneuver them.

Bestiary Entry[ | ]
“ | The seabird variant of the Charger species, this creature is often found on beaches or in rivers. Despite their aquatic appearance, sea chargers never developed the physical appendages for moving through water.
Due to this, they are still much more proficient in moving across land than through water, but they have no issues about doing either. They will flock towards potential threats in full aggression, utilising their sharp beak and high speeds to quickly overwhelm |
