Rock Crawlers are hostile melee mobs that spawn naturally in the Deeplands.
Spawning
Rock Crawlers spawn naturally in the Deeplands.
They will only spawn in places with a light level lower than 8. Their spawning can be prevented by placing torches or other lighting blocks nearby to raise the light level above 7.
They will despawn if the player gets too far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.
Behavior
Rock Crawlers are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target.
They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.
Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.
Unique Abilities
Rock Crawlers can climb up blocks.

Trivia
- Ironically, even though the classification, trait, and design of Cave Crawlers are related to Spiders, they cannot move through cobwebs fast.
