Spawning[edit | edit source]
Walkers spawn naturally in all biomes in the Overworld.
They will only spawn during Lunar Invasion events, and like most other mobs; their spawning can be prevented by placing torches or other lighting blocks nearby to raise the light level above 7.
Behavior[edit | edit source]
Walkers are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target.
They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players within 16 blocks without provocation. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.
Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.
Unique Abilities[edit | edit source]
When a Walker successfully attacks an entity, it will set it on fire for 30 seconds.
Immunities[edit | edit source]
Walkers are completely immune to all types of fire damage. This includes lava and flaming projectiles.
Hunter Mob[edit | edit source]
Walkers are Hunter creatures that can be killed at any level. When killed, they will grant 6.6 Hunter xp.
