Spawning

Sea Spiders do not spawn naturally anywhere in the game, they can only be spawned with spawn eggs and commands.

They will despawn if the player gets too far away from them or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.

Drops

Sea Spiders drop 3 XP orbs when killed. They have no other drops.

Behavior

Sea Spiders will pursue and attack players that come within 16 blocks of one. They will always float on water, even if their target is below them.

Sea Spiders behave like regular spiders, by pouncing and leaping towards the player.
