Hydrolisk is one of the bosses from L'Borean.
Spawning[ | ]
Hydrolisk is spawned by using a Pure Water Stone on a Hydro Table. It will despawn if the player gets too far away from it, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.
Behavior[ | ]
Hydrolisk will pursue players that come within 16 blocks of it and attack with melee. It cannot pathfind, and will always try and go straight for the player. The Hydrolisk will always float on water, even if its target is below it.
The Hydrolisk boss fight is divided into two phases:
Phase 1[ | ]
After being spawned, Hydrolisk will have a shield, and cannot be damaged normally. During this phase, Hydrolisk has a 1 in 80 chance every tick to spawn a Hydrolon.
The player has to take out the Hydrolons to receive Hydro Stones. The player must then right-click the Hydro Stones on Hydrolisk to deplete its shield. The shield's current health is noted in the boss bar on the top of the screen. Once the shield is depleted completely, the second phase will begin.
Phase 2[ | ]
In the second phase, Hydrolisk will no longer spawn Hydrolons. It has a 1 in 120 chance every tick to place down a water block.
In both phases it heals 1 (×0.5) health every tick while standing in water.
