Disambig This article is about the mob from Precasia that grants the Gardencia Realmstone. For the orange version from Gardencia, see Carrotop.

Primitive Carrotop is a hostile mob from Precasia that can grant access to Gardencia when defeated.

Spawning[ | ]

Primitive Carrotops do not spawn naturally. One can only be spawned by tossing a Blank Realmstone into a carrot crop while inside the Precasia dimension. The carrot crop has to be fully grown for it to work.

Behavior[ | ]

Primitive Carrotops are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target.

They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players within 16 blocks without provocation. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.

Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.

Drops[ | ]

If defeated while in the Precasia dimension, Primitive Carrotops will drop a Gardencia Realmstone 100% of the time. If defeated in any other dimension, Primitive Carrotops will drop nothing.

Bestiary Entry[ | ]

A long-lost, primitive form of the Carrotop found in Gardencia, this strange creature is an anomaly seemingly only found within Precasia. Even though it does have a much more primal appearance and demeanor, it seems to be equally aggressive and hostile as its Gardencian relative.

Testing appears to confirm that the Carrotop is a direct descendant of this creature, though the mechanics of which is not known.
