Precasia
Prerequisite dimension Overworld
Tier 1
Realmstone
Version 1.0

Precasia is a prehistoric dimension.

Overview[]

Precasia is a tier 1 dimension.

Accessing[]

Precasia is accessed by using a Precasia Realmstone on a carved rune of power in a portal. The realmstone is obtained with archaeology - Advent of Ascension makes it so small patches of Suspicious Gravel will uncommonly generate on the surface of jungle-type biomes in the Overworld. These patches of Suspicious Gravel have a chance to give the realmstone when brushed.

Properties[]

Precasia has a day/night cycle similar to the Overworld. Respawn anchors, clocks, and maps all function normally. Beds can be slept in during the night, but they will not skip to morning.

Generation[]

General[]

Precasia's generation consists of flat areas and hilly areas. Generally, Precasia shares various attributes with the Overworld such as having plains, forests, deserts, jungles, etc. Precasian Grass and Precasian Soil mostly make up the surface of Precasia, with some exceptions such as the Precasian Desert and Precasian Deadlands biomes.

Precasia's temperature and humidity areas are larger than those of the normal Overworld (although smaller than those of the Overworld with Large Biomes turned on). Combined with the fact that Precasia has fewer biomes overall, this leads to Precasian land biomes often being significantly larger than their Overworld counterparts. Unlike the Overworld, Precasia lacks biomes specific to cold areas, so cold areas will share many biomes with more temperate areas.

Some other notable blocks that can generate on Precasia's surface include Calab Grass and Ashfern (block).

Precasia has a day-night cycle, complete with a sun and moon, as well as stars at night. Precasia also has clouds.

Underground[]

Caves generate underground in the dimension, similarly to Overworld caves. Unlike the Overworld's caves, Precasia's caves are overgrown and are filled with Moss Blocks, Ancient Vines, trees, and other blocks. In terms of stone, Precasian Stone makes up the first layer of the underground, but is replaced by Deepslate under Y=0. Bone Fragments Ore and various other ore blocks from the Overworld and Nether can be found underground in veins as well. Just like the Overworld, these ore blocks also have Deepslate versions of themselves.

Suspicious Gravel can also be found in the Deepslate layer and contains loot when brushed, seen here. The very bottom layers of the world are made of Bedrock and dimensional fabric.
