Mermages are hostile ranged mobs that appear in L'Borean.
Spawning[ | ]
Mermages spawn from Mermage Spawners in the Aquatic Castles within L'Borean.
They will despawn if the player gets too far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.
Behavior[ | ]
When alone, Mermage wander around aimlessly, moving at slow speeds. When they spot a player, they will stay still and fire purple projectiles at the player at a constant rate. If the player moves out of their fire range, Mermages will slowly move towards the target player until back into range of fire. A Mermage's projectiles do 14 (×7) damage upon hitting the player, no matter what the difficulty is. Mermages cannot do melee damage.
When in water, they will regenerate 2 (×1) per tick.
Mermages have the ability to pathfind, and can navigate mazes in order to get to the player.
