Mauls are knockback-based melee weapons.
Overview[ | ]
Mauls are a weapon class added by Advent of Ascension. The mod adds 5 Mauls for the player to use.
Mauls deal higher knockback compared to other melee weapons. Compared to Swords, Mauls have a higher reach distance of +0.5 blocks. This adds up to an approximate range of 4 blocks. Mauls are still affected by the Strength effect, and are able to deal critical hits. They cannot deal sweeping damage however. Additionally, Mauls have a chance to disable Shields on hit in the same way Axes can. Mauls generally deal higher damage than Swords and Greatblades, but are slower than both.
Mauls deal player attack damage, I.E. melee damage. All Mauls have an attack speed of 0.53.

Bolded enchantments are ones added by Advent of Ascension. Any Mauls can be enchanted at an Enchantment Table, Anvil, or Infusion Table.
