Lurkers are aggressive melee mobs that spawn in the Dustopia.
Spawning[ | ]
Lurkers spawn naturally in Dustopia, and like all other hostile mobs they despawn when the difficulty is set to Peaceful or if the player walks far away from them. They can, however, also spawn if the player uses the /summon command (/summon aoa3:lurker).
Behavior[ | ]
Lurkers are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target.
They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players within 16 blocks without provocation. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.
When they attack the player, they inflict Wither III for 7.5 seconds.
Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.
