Greatblades are larger versions of Swords, capable of damaging enemies from about 5.5 blocks away (about 2 blocks further than a Sword). Greatblades generally deal much higher damage than swords at the cost of being slower, and cannot deal critical hits. They are still affected by Battle Rage and the Strength effect though. All Greatblades have an attack speed of 0.76.
There is also a faster, but slightly weaker variant of Greatblades called Scythes. Unlike Greatblades, Scythes consume 15 Energy per swing, and will damage the user per swing if it is used without enough Energy. Scythes have the same range as Greatblades, and all Scythes have an attack speed of 1.4.
