When held in the main hand, Golden Rod will increase the player's luck by 3. This is stackable with any other luck-altering effects, including Luck of the Sea and the Luck potion.
Additionally, items or entities fished up by Golden Rod will have their drops doubled. E.G. fishing up a Treasure Box will result in 2 Treasure Boxes instead of 1. Golden Rod's bobber will also go a much farther distance when cast.
