The Electron Maul is a Tier 2 maul dropped by Mechbot.

If the player has Spirit when hitting a mob, the Spirit is consumed and the maul's knockback strength is increased. The amount in which the knockback is increased depends on the amount of Spirit available at the time of hit, increasingly linearly up to a max of a 3x bonus. The formula that determines this is 1 + spirit/100.
Additionally, if the player has 133 Spirit or more when striking the target, a lightning bolt will spawn at the target's location. This lightning does no damage and is purely visual.
