Dicers are hostile melee mobs that spawn naturally in the Overworld.

Spawning[ | ]

Dicers spawn naturally in all biomes in the Overworld.

They will only spawn during the night, or in places with a light level lower than 8. Their spawning can be prevented by placing torches or other lighting blocks nearby to raise the light level above 7.

Behavior[ | ]

Dicers are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target.

They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players within 16 blocks without provocation. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.

Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.

Bestiary Entry[ | ]

Large, clunky creatures; Dicers are quadrupedal species that roam the Overworld during the night. Most people who have come across a Dicer will recognize it for its abnormally large frontal claws. Although very large, and quite sharp, Dicers don't seem to intend them to be weapons, instead primarily utilizing them to provide impressive grip in rough and slippery terrain.

With that said, Dicers are aggressive creatures and their claws often end up causing serious injury when it uses its front legs to ram into targets.
