Cyclops are hostile melee mobs that spawn naturally in the Overworld.
Spawning[ | ]
Cyclops spawn naturally in the Overworld. They will only spawn in biomes tagged as c:is_dry and c:is_dead at a Y level of 55 or higher.
They will only spawn during the day, and like most other mobs; their spawning can be prevented by placing torches or other lighting blocks nearby to raise the light level above 0.
Behavior[ | ]
Cyclops are aggressive, and will attack nearby players and player-owned mobs within 14 blocks of them without provocation. They attack with a basic melee attack.
Cyclops will follow targets both on land and in water, and are capable of pathfinding around obstacles.

“ | An otherworldly creature, no-one is really sure where Cyclops originate from. What is known is that they can be found mostly in dry or dead areas, and aren't afraid to make their presence known.
They will attack at will, motioning very similarly to what you would expect from a human. There are currently no known instances of communication with a Cyclops, so it is recommended just to avoid them where possible. |
