Cotton Candor is the boss of Candyland. He is very difficult and can be one of the most lethal bosses in Nevermine if you have failed to get the proper equipment. To summon Cotton Candor, the player must use a Treat Bag on a Candy Block.

Boss Information
Cotton Candor hovers above the ground, his feet changing color. Cotton Candor is immune to almost all weapons, but is vulnerable to the most basic of Staves.

The staff Cotton Candor is weak to depends on his current color. The staves that can be used against him are the Wind, Water, Fire, Poison, Wither, Lunar, Noxious, and Underworld Staves.

He is a flying boss who will fire explosive projectiles at the player. His feet will randomly change between 5 different colors: White, Red, Green, Blue, and Grey. The color they change into indicates which staves can currently damage him.
Cotton Candor has two attacks. He has a ramming attack, where he charges at the player, doing high damage. He can also fire pink and blue explosive projectiles, which explode upon impact. Because the Cotton Candy Tower stands high in the sky and is quite small, Cotton Candor can easily knock the player off.

Strategies
It is recommended before challenging Cotton Candor that the player obtains one or more of the following staves:

  +
* White: Wind Staff, Primordial Staff
- The Noxious Staff which is obtained by defeating Voxxulon or purchased from the Store Keeper in the Vox Ponds. (Usable when his feet turn green, best used up close but very risky)

  +
* Red: Fire Staff, Baron Staff, Firestorm Staff, Firefly Staff

  +
* Green: Poison Staff, Noxious Staff
- The Baron Staff which can be obtained from the Baron Lottoman in Barathos. (Usable when his feet turn red)

  +
* Blue: Water Staff

  +
* Grey: Wither Staff, Underworld Staff
- The Firestorm Staff which is obtained by defeating the Hive King also in Barathos. (Usable when his feet turn red)

- The Primordial Staff which is obtained by defeating the Primordial Five in Dustopia (Usable when his feet turn white, but the recoil effect on this staff requires every hit to be successful)

- The Underworld Staff which is a rare drop from the Cryptid in Barathos (Usable when his feet turn black, very weak but good for stopping Cotton Candor from flying away)

Players should wear a full set of Explosive Armor to protect themselves from his one attack. Before starting the battle, it is recommended that the player builds an expansion to the Cotton Candy Tower, to both prevent the player from falling off and to allow more space to work with. Players should also build walls to guarantee the player doesn't fall off and a ceiling if necessary so Cotton Candor cannot fly away (Note that in building a ceiling, the Firestorm and Underworld Staves become useless).

Giving each staff the Archmage enchantment is a good idea but not necessary. This will halve the staves' rune costs. This will save the player a lot of time and resources. However, since the Archmage enchantment requires level 85 Infusion to get, it may be easier to simply stock of runes (unless the player already has that high of an Infusion level).
