Constructs of Range are common ranged mobs found in the Crystevia.
Spawning[ | ]
Constructs of Range spawn naturally in Crystevia. They can spawn in groups of up to 4, and can spawn at any light level on any exposed solid block.
They will despawn if the player gets too far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.
Behavior[ | ]
When alone, Constructs of Range wander around aimlessly, walking at slow speeds. When they spot a player, they will stand still and fire purple projectiles at the player at a constant rate. If the player moves out of their fire range, Constructs of Range will slowly walk towards the target player until back into range of fire. A Construct of Range's projectiles do 4 (×2) damage upon hitting the player, no matter what the difficulty is. Constructs of Range cannot do melee damage.
Constructs of Range have the ability to pathfind, and can navigate mazes in order to get to the player.
