Cherry Blasters are common ranged mobs found in the Candyland.
Spawning[ | ]
Cherry Blasters spawn naturally in Candyland.
They will despawn if the player gets too far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.
Behavior[ | ]
When alone, Cherry Blasters wander around aimlessly, walking at slow speeds. When they spot a player, they will stand still and fire explosive projectiles at the player at a constant rate. If the player moves out of their fire range, Cherry Blasters will slowly walk towards the target player until back into range of fire. A Cherry Blaster's projectiles do 9 (×4.5) damage upon hitting the player, no matter what the difficulty is. Cherry Blasters cannot do melee damage.
Cherry Blasters have the ability to pathfind, and can navigate mazes in order to get to the player.
Healing[ | ]
If a Cherry Blaster is standing in certain liquids, the Cherry Blaster will regenerate 0.4 (×0.2) health per tick (8 (×4) health per second). The liquid can be any liquid assigned a Water material in code, which includes Water and Candied Water.
