Bomb Carriers are hostile melee mobs that spawn naturally in the Overworld.
Spawning
Bomb Carriers spawn naturally in plains-type biomes in the Overworld.
They have a low spawn chance and will spawn much less frequently than most other mobs.
They will only spawn during the day, and like most other mobs; their spawning can be prevented by placing torches or other lighting blocks nearby to raise the light level above 7.
They will despawn if the player gets too far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.
Behavior
Bomb Carriers are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target.
They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players within 16 blocks without provocation. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.
Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.
Unique Abilities
Every 7.5 seconds, the bomb carrier will drop a fake version of primed TNT where it is standing. This primed TNT differs from normal primed TNT as it will not destroy blocks unless the doStrongerMobGriefing gamerule is enabled.

Bestiary Entry
“ | With great power comes great responsibility. Someone should have probably told that to the Bomb Carrier. An underdeveloped human, he has somehow managed to find his way into a stockpile of TnT.
While it would be nice to say there's a purpose to his madness, the unfortunate truth is that he's just destructive for the sake of being destructive. Maybe his parents should have raised him better. |
