Bloodstone Ore is a red ore found in The Abyss.

Obtaining

Bloodstone Ore requires a tier 4 pickaxe (e.g.: sapphire pickaxe) or higher to mine.

If mined with the correct tool, Bloodstone Ore will drop 1 Bloodstone, which can be increased with the Fortune enchantment.

Mining Bloodstone Ore with the correct tool enchanted with Silk Touch will make it drop itself.

Mining Bloodstone Ore with a pickaxe that has a tier lower than 4 will drop nothing.

Natural generation

Bloodstone Ore generates in the Abyss at y=64 and below, wherever there is Abyssal Stone.

By default, the amount of veins that can generate per chunk is 4. By default, the minimum amount of ores per vein is 6 and the maximum amount of ores per vein is 12.

The amount of veins per chunk, and the minimum and maximum amount of ores per vein can be edited in the mod's config file.
