Blasters are ranged weapons that consume Spirit.
Overview[]
Blasters are a weapon class added by Advent of Ascension. The mod adds 56 Blasters for the player to use.
Blasters are weapons that can be fired by pressing and holding use, provided that the player has enough Spirit. When held, all Blasters have an 'unholster time', the player must wait for the 'unholster time' to finish before being able to fire the Blaster. Blasters can also be fired while sprinting. While a Blaster can be held in the offhand, it cannot be fired while in the offhand.
Certain Blasters are capable of firing hitscan projectiles, which are projectiles that instantly travel to their destination without physically moving through the world. Blaster hitscan projectiles each have a limit on how far they travel.
Before a Blaster can fire, the player must first charge it up by holding down the fire button for a certain amount of time. The amount of time it takes to charge up is displayed in the tooltip. The projectiles fired by Blasters cannot pierce through non-solid blocks other ranged weapons can, this includes blocks like Foliage and liquids. Blasters have high damage output and require no physical ammo, but can quickly drain the player's Spirit.
All Blasters fire fully-automatically, which means they will continue to shoot if the fire button is held down.
Blasters deal energy projectile damage, with some dealing energy effect damage instead. The projectiles fired by most Blasters deal no knockback. Blaster projectiles will also ignore armor.

Bolded enchantments are ones added by Advent of Ascension. Any Blasters can be enchanted at an Enchantment Table, Anvil, or Infusion Table.
