Version added | 3.5 |
Basalt Asteroids are features from Lunalus.
Generation[]
Basalt Asteroids generate randomly across Lunalus.
There are three different variants of Basalt Asteroids.
Structure[]
Basalt Asteroids have an exterior made of Basalt. The insides are hollow and vary based on the variant, although all of them have Lava and patches of Blackstone. They generally resemble the Nether's Basalt Deltas.
Blocks that randomly replace other blocks (as shown in the table below) will only do so when the feature generates naturally in the world. These blocks will never be present if the player generates the feature with a structure block or commands.
Structure piece | Description | Blocks | Image |
---|---|---|---|
aoa3:lunalus/decorations/basalt_asteroid1 |
Size: 26x17x21 A rounded basalt asteroid with a flat interior containing Blackstone patches. The interior has a lava lake surrounded with Netherrack and Magma Blocks, with ore randomly generating in the Netherrack. On the other side of the lava lake is a small patch of Soul Sand, which has four Obsidian blocks by default. Each Obsidian block has a chance to be replaced with Crying Obsidian. |
