Barathos is a barren desert-wasteland dimension.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Barathos is a tier 1 dimension, and is the first in a chain of two dimensions. From Barathos, the player is able to access Iromine.

Like in The Nether water evaporates in this dimension.

Accessing[edit | edit source]

The Barathos Realmstone.png Realmstone to Barathos is obtained by defeating a Husk while the player holds a Blank Realmstone.

Generation[edit | edit source]

The surface of the dimension is covered in Baron Ground. Streaks of baron stone line the borders of chunks across the dimension. Various baron stone formations also appear on the surface. The dimension is mostly flat with some hills appearing occasionally. There are no trees or plants in this dimension, and the surface lacks any other notable features besides structures and the already mentioned features.

The underground of the dimension is filled with caves. The caves stretch their way all the way down close to the lowest layers of the world, and can sometimes poke up and be visible through the surface. The upper layers of the underground are composed of baron stone. Two ores can be found in the upper parts of the underground: varsium ore, and baronyte ore.

If the player goes deep enough, the player will find that the baron stone is replaced with hellstone. Lava lakes and blazium ore can generate in the hellstone area. The two ores found in the upper area are not present down here.

Dimensional Fabric generates along the bottom of the world, in place of bedrock.

All structures can be found on the surface.
