Archvines are hostile melee mobs that spawn in Gardencia.
Spawning[ | ]
Archvines spawn in Gardencia naturally, and they can spawn at any light level.
They will despawn if the player gets too far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.
Behavior[ | ]
Archvines are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target.
They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.
When in water they will regenerate 4 (×2) per second, and when under rain will regenerate 2 (×1) per second. When in contact with candied water, they will have their maximum health increased by 50 (×25) and they will heal by a large amount.
Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.
Unique Abilities[ | ]
Unlike other Gardencia mobs, Archvines have the ability to regenerate health when they are not moving.

Bestiary Entry[ | ]
“ | Archvines are yet another mutated Gardencian creature, this one originally being a carnivorous trapping plant.
When walking, its feet deploy roots into the ground and break them off with each step. It uses these roots to draw nutrients from the ground wherever it stands. Like all other mutated Gardencian creatures, the Archvine is extremely aggressive. Due to their greatly increased regenerative powers as a result of their rooting mechanism, Archvines are very resistant to attack and will prove very dangerous to even experienced fighters. |
