The Arc Wizard is a ranged mob from the Shyrelands.
Spawning[ | ]
Arc Wizards spawn from spawners found in ArcWizard Dungeons in the Shyrelands.
They will despawn if the player gets too far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.
Behavior[ | ]
When alone, ArcWizards wander around aimlessly, walking at slow speeds. When they spot a player, they will begin to fire projectiles at any players within 8 blocks of them. ArcWizards will fire their projectiles at a speed of 1 projectile per second. If the player moves out of their fire range, ArcWizards will slowly walk towards the target player until back into range of fire. An ArcWizard's projectiles do 16.5 (×8.25) damage upon hitting the player, no matter what the difficulty is. ArcWizards cannot do melee damage.
ArcWizards have the ability to pathfind, and can navigate mazes in order to get to the player.
