Aoa3-Snapshot 3 is the first officially released testing snapshot for the 3.0 update, which will update the mod to the 1.12.2 version of Minecraft. It was released on 18 August 2018.[citation needed] The snapshot contains most of the weapons and armors present in the previous versions of the mod, excluding some energy weapons.
The download link for the snapshot has been taken down. It was formerly downloadable here.

All weapons and armor as of Tslat 1.1.3 have been implemented in 1.12.2, excluding most energy weapons.

Greatblades and Scythes[ | ]
All greatblades in the mod have been made to do melee damage instead of ranged. Scythes have been placed in the greatblades tab in creative mode. All greatblades and scythes have an attack speed of 0.76 in the snapshot.

Mauls[ | ]
Mauls are a new class of weapon. They are melee weapons that do massive knockback to entities that are hit. They function similar to greatbades, but with the aforementioned knockback.

Shotguns[ | ]
Shotguns are a new weapon class introduced in the snapshot. Guns in this class fire multiple bullets at once, yet only consume one ammo per fire. Shotguns consume spreadshots as ammunition.
The following guns are now classed as shotguns. With except of the demolisher, boulder, vivo, ginger blaster, amplifier and discharge shotgun, none of the guns in this category fired multiple bullets before the snapshot. Other changes to some of the guns are listed alongside it:

Snipers[ | ]
Sniper rifles have received major changes in the snapshot. Scoping is now triggered by sneaking while holding the sniper. Scoping greatly increases the accuracy of a sniper, without the scope the bullet the sniper fires flies out of control. Snipers also have much more massive recoil while unscoped than while scoped. All snipers consume metal slugs as ammunition in the snapshot.
The player has the ability to walk around while scoped in the snapshot. Sharpshot armor grants a 30% damage increase to snipers (as opposed to the previous 25%). If the sniper is the mark maker or moon maker, it gets a 35% damage increase instead.
Sniper stats and abilities are unchanged in the snapshot, with exception of Mark Maker and Moon Maker - the 60% damage increase from sharpshot armor has been decreased to 35%. BayonetteSR now has an attack speed of 0.8.
Cannons[ | ]
All guns classed as cannons do extra damage to armored enemies in the snapshot. All sticky bomber weapons have been classed as cannons.

Blasters (Energy weapons)[ | ]
Energy weapons have been named Blasters. There are only 18 blasters in the snapshot, including the animal blasters and sound cannons, apoco shower, atomizer, beamer, bone blaster, and illusion smg.
To use a blaster, player has to hold their use button. The player will recieve slowness effect, and blaster will auto-fire after some delay.
The Bee Blaster and Apoco Shower have new textures.
Staves[ | ]
Staves no longer require the rune pouch to be fired. The player must simply have the required runes in their inventory.
- The Water Staff will place water blocks upon hitting the target in this snapshot.
- The Fungal Staff currently does not function.
- The Formation Staff is absent from the game.
- The Underworld Staff now only does 5 damage and drags targets to the ground.
- The Moonlight Staff falling projectile is now summoned at the point where player is looking.
- All staves that summon fallen projectiles have increased projectile speed.
- Staves that fire multiple projectiles have random spread
- Candy Staff doesn't deal damage anymore
- Show Staff damage increases by 1 per enemy instead of 5.
- Sun Staff orb now burns all enemies around it in large radius, exists longer and explodes after death.
- Healing staves and staves that affecting enemies around cannot be used, if player's health is full/no enemies around.
- Surge Staff strength boost increased from Strength II to Strength VI.
- Runic Staff now opens the player's ender chest inventory on use, rather than dumping its contents on the ground.
Armor[ | ]
All armor items have received a new texture. The following armor sets have received some other changes:
- Hauling Armor now grants an additional boost to catching rarer items when fishing.
- Battleborn Armor no longer inflicts a screen effect.
- Zargonite Armor now grants additional health to the player, instead of doing damage.
- Omni Armor now explodes upon the player taking a physical hit, instead of firing grenades.
