- Training skills to levels above 100 is purely optional and has no additional effects on gameplay.

Foraging
Changes to foraging:
- Iron ingots are now obtainable from level 35 foraging.

Mauls[edit | edit source]
Mauls are a new class of weapon. They are melee weapons that do massive knockback to entities that are hit. They function similar to greatbades, but with the aforementioned knockback.
There are three mauls in the 3.0 currently, based on converted swords:
- Crystal Maul
- Horizon Maul
- Coralstone Maul
- Based on Coralstone Sword
Bows[edit | edit source]
Bows in the mod can now use the tipped holly arrows, in addition to the regular holly arrow.

Shotguns[edit | edit source]
Shotguns are a new weapon class introduced in 3.0. Guns in this class fire multiple bullets at once, yet only consume one ammo per fire. Shotguns consume spreadshots as ammunition.
The following guns are now classed as shotguns. With except of the demolisher, boulder, vivo, ginger blaster, amplifier and discharge shotgun, none of the guns in this category fired multiple bullets before 3.0:
- Abyssro
- Amplifier
- Blast Barrel
- Blue Barrel
- Boulder
- Brown Blaster
- Demolisher
- Destruction Shotgun
- Discharge Shotgun
- Gimmick
- Ginger Blaster
- Long Shot
- Mechyro
- Purity Shotgun
- Purple Punisher
- Red Rocket
- Vivo
The following shotguns have received changes:

Snipers[edit | edit source]
Sniper rifles have received major changes. Scoping is now triggered by sneaking while holding the sniper. Scoping greatly increases the accuracy of a sniper, without the scope the bullet the sniper fires flies out of control. Snipers also have much more massive recoil while unscoped than while scoped. All snipers consume metal slugs as ammunition.
The player has the ability to walk around while scoped. Sharpshot armor grants a 30% damage increase to snipers (as opposed to the previous 25%). If the sniper is the mark maker or moon maker, it gets a 45% damage increase instead.
The BayonetteSR now has an attack speed of 0.8 for its melee attack.

Staves[edit | edit source]
- Removed Rune Pouch.
- Staves no longer require the rune pouch to be fired. The player must simply have the required runes in their inventory.
- The Formation Staff is absent from the game.
- All staves that summon fallen projectiles have increased projectile speed.
- Staves that fire multiple projectiles have random spread
- Sun Staff orb now burns all enemies around it in large radius, exists longer and explodes after death.
- Healing staves and staves that affecting enemies around cannot be used, if player's health is full/no enemies around.

Vulcanes[edit | edit source]
Vulcane damage and durability have been reduced:
- Unupgraded vulcane's damage was reduced from 25 (
×12.5) to 10 (
×5), and durability was reduced from 1000 to 300.
- Battle vulcane's damage was reduced from 50 (
×25) to 25 (
×12.5), and durability was reduced from 1000 to 150.
- All other vulcanes' damage was reduced from 25 (
×12.5) to 15 (
×7.5), and durability was reduced from 1000 to 200.
Armor[edit | edit source]
All armor items have received a new texture.
In previous versions, all armors had a protection level of diamond armor. All armors added by the mod now have 1 point of armor toughness, with exception of artistry armors, which have two points. The protection values of some armors were also changed.
Holding a piece of artistry armor in the player's hand will cause it to drop to the ground/move to another inventory space, just like with the extraction tools.
The following armors have protection changes (+8 is diamond armor):
Protection (on chestplate) | Armor |
---|---|
+ 10 armor | |
+ 9 armor | |
+ 7 armor |
In addition to the above protection changes, some armors received full set bonus changes:
- Archaic Armor - no longer heals the player.
- Augury Armor - no longer gives a 1 heart shield when the player jumps.
- Baron Armor - the player now does/takes 20% the melee damage instead of 25%.
- Battleborn Armor - the 15 second cooldown is now a 30 second cooldown. No longer inflicts a screen effect.
- Boreic Armor - now a 30% chance to do double melee damage instead of 33%.
- Butchery Armor - now has a 40% chance not to consume rage. Battle rage strikes cost 1 (
×0.5) health instead of 4 (
×2) health. No longer does x4 the damage.
- Elecanyte Armor - now consumes 200 energy to block 80% damage, instead of the 25 energy needed to block 60% damage.
- Extraction Armor - now grants increased movement speed while swimming in lava, instead of granting haste.
- Fungal Armor - now reflects double melee damage to attacker, instead of 350% damage.
- Ghoulish Armor - now has a 30% reduced energy cost on weapons, instead of 50%.
- Hauling Armor - now grants an additional boost to catching rarer items when fishing.
- Hydrangic Armor - effect now occurs when dropping below 10% health instead of 20% health. Effect consumes 10 life and distortion runes (no longer consumes energy) to restore 5 (
×2.5) health.
- Innervation Armor - now has a 25% chance to dodge physical damage, instead of 50%.
- Necro Armor - now leeches 10% of melee damage done. Additionally, now causes the player to take double damage from recoil and the environment.
- Nethengeic Armor - above 50% health: melee attackers are now set on fire.
- Omni Armor - does 40% more explosion damage.
- Predatious Armor - now grants 50% bonus holly arrow damage, instead of 70%. Now also grants 10% chance to dodge ranged attacks, instead of 20%.
- Primordial Armor - now grants immunity to the Wither effect, instead of having a 33% change to dodge damage from enemy physical attacks.
- Purity Armor - now does/takes 20% projectile damage instead of 25%.
- Rosidian Armor - now spawns a rosid every 20 seconds instead of 15.
- Runation Armor - now doubles runes from all non-random rune posts.
- Runic Armor - bonus movement speed given at below 20% health instead of 40% health.
- Vulcanism Armor - no longer increases vulcane damage to 300%.
- Zargonite Armor - now grants additional health to the player, instead of doing damage.
